The SearchStax Help Center Frequently Asked Questions page includes FAQs about SearchStax Managed Search, our hosted Apache Solr Cloud service.

CSRF Verification Failed

Users of the SearchStax Managed Search service sometimes report a “CSRF verification failed” message that appears when they try to connect to the Managed Search interface.

The message refers to a request verification token that prevents Cross Site Request Forgery. For the most part, this security precaution is transparent to the SearchStax user.

The error can arise when the user returns to a browser window that has stale security data. We sometimes see this in the context of upgrades, for instance.

A quick work-around is to log into Managed Search from an incognito window. Otherwise, try closing the browser, deleting cookies, and clearing the browser cache. Then log in again.

If there is still an issue, please contact SearchStax Support.
